Our stay was wonderful! Our room was very nice with all the amenities shown here. Our bed was comfy and the WiFi was good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good and fresh! We didn't get to have dinner there due to the chef's schedule conflict, hopefully next time. The area is quiet. Also, it isn't too far of a drive for any good pubs with good food in the area. Definitely recommend if you happen to be in the North York Moors area. Thank you.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely Christmas atmosphere with tasteful decorations. Given a room upgrade in the quiet old part, without requesting which was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent breakfast choices. The "Mucky Duck" has lots of character and is ideally placed for exploring Helmsley and surroundings - visiting Rievaulx Abbey, the Castle or walking Duncombe Park.
