The welcome by the owners was second to none. Everything was catered for and thought of. The bedroom was lovely and big with a wonderful aspect out over the gardens and the farm fields. Breakfast was superb with more choice than we could have dreamed, cooked to perfection and served by the owner. We could not fault this place and will be looking forward to returning soon.

The friendly and lovelyness of our hosts made the best of our holyday in UK. We realy enjoyed every morning the wonderful prepared breakfest. And the meeting with other guests in the morning was always a pleasure. The room with a beautiful bathroom was very cosy. Also it was a quiet and the perfect location for us in Northumberland.

What was not to like. Greeted with Coffee and cake. Room had great views over village. Good size, lovely comfortable bed, shower good, very clean and quality shower gels etc. plenty of wardrobe/ drawer space for clothes. Breakfast excellent, fresh local and tasteful products for cooked varieties, granola, figs, dates, fruits, yoghurt etc. Cooked breakfast was done fresh everyday. All in would recommend and definitely stay here again

Lou and Shaun were incredible hosts and the place was incredibly surprising - a wonderful Northumberland farm experience and the biggest B&B room we have stayed in. There is so much history to the place and a visit to Cragside is a must do to complement the Cragend farm experience. Can not rate this place or the hosts highly enough.

We loved everything. The staff are exceptional, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is amazing. The location is beautiful and breathtaking. The food is excellent.

Breakfast was lovely, staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive Room was very spacious and clean Ideal location to a wedding we were attending at brinkburn priory Mattress was very comfortable We would definitely book again if we needed to stay in the area

Room was big, great view out onto the fields, extra chairs for watching television/reading, comfortable bed, very nice shower, small refrigerator with milk, variety of instant coffee and other drinks, some small eats, very quiet, great place. Close to small town for eating and 20 minute drive from castle
