Situated in a prime location, The Gallery is amongst Port Isaac’s restaurants, pubs, and shops. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the picturesque village of Port Isaac lies between the beautiful National Trust Coastal walks from Tintagel and Boscastle, across to Polzeath, Rock, and Padstow.

The Gallery is in a perfect location, in the heart of the town. Our room (2) had a glorious view. The immaculate room was very comfortable and pretty, the en suite nicely fitted, and the makings for tea were ready for us. The Wifi was great. Top notch communication. I hated to leave this lovely spot.

The bed and breakfast offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hair dryer, free toiletries and shower. Each room has countryside views .

Newquay is 31 km from Brookfields, while Padstow is 18 km away. The nearest airport is Newquay Cornwall Airport, 25 km from the bed and breakfast.

Our holiday included stays at a few different places in the UK. At the airport on the way home we asked the children what they liked best about the holiday. “Visiting grandad and staying at Sue and Ray’s in Cornwall” came the answer in chorus! We were looking for a family room in a quiet, rural B&B that was not too far from Padstow, Port Isaac and the Eden Project and definitely hit the jackpot when we booked the Garden View apartment at Brookfields. Communication with our hosts Sue and Ray in advance of the visit was excellent and we were given a very warm welcome on arrival. They were kind and helpful, provided us with lots of useful tips for places to eat and visit and really made us feel at home. The apartment was well presented, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette and private bathroom. As well as having an entrance from the house, the apartment also has its own external door allowing sand covered children to come and go without disturbing other residents or making a mess of the main house. The large TV with Netflix was great for lazy evenings after active days, as were the comfy beds. We slept extraordinarily well both nights we were there and woke up refreshed, just in time for the delicious breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, cereals toast and the traditional full English breakfast cooked by Ray with locally produced bacon and eggs. The breakfast room has a commanding view over rolling hills and big skies, and we could watch rabbits hoping across the law and swifts and swallows practicing their aerial acrobatics while we enjoyed a relaxed breakfast. The perfect start to a day. Brookfields is a real gem, not to be missed if you are planning trip to Cornwall.

We had 2 pods next to each other, which was great. Location, with stunning sunsets and sunrise views. Land surrounding the pods was generous and private. Garden area looking straight out to sea. Quiet and picturesque. A 20-minute walk into the quaint town of Port Isaac or to the beach at Port Gaverne. Enjoyed a couple of evenings using the BBQ and patio sets. A wonderful stay for my father's 80th birthday. Our party ranged from age 7 to 80. Everyone enjoyed the holiday 😀

A really lovely fisherman's cottage over 3 floors. Everything you need for a relaxing time away. No parking as Port Isaac is a busy quaint village but there is a large cheap carpark nearby. No outside space (garden) but the harbour is a 1 minute walk away. Perfect place for a early morning walk with the dog with a cup of tea in hand. The Golden Lion pub opposite it really lovely and the food is scrummy 😁
