Well worth the short detour to Portmahomack; super comfortable room with smart on-suite. Copious hot water and heating to take the chill of the night air. Jennie's catering was top notch (we had problems with dinner at the Castle Hotel which booked us a dinner slot on a closed night !!) and we appreciated the stand in dinner provided (wonderful steak pie). The full breakfast was beyond our appetites, but the waffles and fruit hit the spot. Many thanks Jennie.

The owner Jenni was really lovely and answered any questions about the area and also helped with a garage number incase we needed it for the car. The linens and furnishings are all top quality. Breakfast was lovely with delicious scrambled eggs. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to the area. The gardens are lovely to sit in if the weather is good and it's so quiet.
