Well worth the short detour to Portmahomack; super comfortable room with smart on-suite. Copious hot water and heating to take the chill of the night air. Jennie's catering was top notch (we had problems with dinner at the Castle Hotel which booked us a dinner slot on a closed night !!) and we appreciated the stand in dinner provided (wonderful steak pie). The full breakfast was beyond our appetites, but the waffles and fruit hit the spot. Many thanks Jennie.

Lovely well-equipped cottage, which was all on one level and perfect for my elderly mother with limited mobility. Lovely quiet location, close to the see and lovely walks right from the doorstep, but also within easy reach of facilities in the village (Portmahomack) and town (Tain). Lovely private garden with summerhouse over-looking the sea.

Portmahomack is absolutely lovely. A quaint, quiet fishing village with a wonderful beach. The Castle Hotel is steps away from the gorgeous beach and we could watch the sun set from our sea view room.

Definitely a 5* bed and breakfast. The place is so cozy and comfortable. The owner Jenni was really lovely and answered any questions about the area and also helped with a garage number incase we needed it for the car. The linens and furnishings are all top quality. Breakfast was lovely with delicious scrambled eggs. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to the area. The gardens are lovely to sit in if the weather is good and it's so quiet. Fantastic.

A lovely well kept house in a beautiful location. Host was friendly and makes an excellent breakfast! Kindly allowed us to use the dining room in the evening as the local restaurant was fully booked. A very quiet relaxing location by the water. Comfy beds! Gallery and shop below is lovely as well.
