Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for our last night in Scotland and it was the perfect farewell experience. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, delicious! I hade the pea risotto with pancetta paired with white wine and I’m drooling just thinking about it. The staff were so friendly and conversations were great! Views from the restaurant and the room were picturesque, especially seeing longboats and swans leisurely swimming in the nearby canal. We didn’t hear any noise from the floor below us or the rooms next to us during our stay, though we were very tired from our day of traveling. The bed was very comfortable, too! I wish it wasn’t raining while we were there so we could have enjoyed their outdoor space, looked like a great place to hang out. We walked around the canal footpath for a bit, very sweet and recommend. The Edinburgh airport is nearby enough that the drive in the morning was quick, but far away enough that there was no airplane noise. I loved how comfortable the place was. The garden was so adorable! In nicer weather I would have spent more time there. Shower was nice. Bed was comfy. The robes made my stay! and the comfy blankets! Lynda was so lovely and accommodating. She booked us a taxi for the following day, she made breakfast for us the night before so we can have it early before our flight!
