Such helpful and accommodating hosts! A beautifully spacious room with incredible views of the pastures and mountains beyond. The breakfast was AMAZING! Very nicely done, tasty, hot and served by a very gracious host. I just loved sitting in that little breakfast room, which was once the kitchen for the building, and thinking about all the history there. Very inspiring. The towels were nice and I appreciated that the hair dryer was hung on the side of the vanity so I could find it easily. Loved the tea making set up. I took full advantage of that. Much better than those horrid Keurig cup things in the States. My friend and I had had a late lunch so we ordered a cheese plate and drinks in the little bar that evening. A splendid way to close the day.

This lovely home is just a 15 minute walk from the center of Downpatrick and Down Cathedral. Angela and Edmund made us feel right at home, giving us a ride to and from the bus station and recommending local attractions and restaurants. We slept well and really appreciated the generous supply of baked goods, cereal, fruit, milk, butter, jam, and tea in the room. Having a microwave, mini fridge, and dishes in our room was really helpful. The accommodations were private but Angela or Edmund were always available when we needed them! The view of the mountains of Mourne and the spire of St. Patrick's Catholic Church from our room was a special highlight of our stay. The wifi was fast and reliable. We also appreciated the towels, good pillows, nice hot shower, and supply of toiletries items. Thank you for a wonderful time at Number Nine Accommodations!
