The room was very good - we could see the stars and milkyway from the ceiling window in the room. It was so romantic. The bathroom was big and nicely stocked. The room itself was spacious enough and easily accomodated two. The breakfast was made right beside us personally, we could chat up a little with the host. The food was good.

The welcome was warm and friendly, the room and ensuite Bathroom were fantastic and the Breakfast was simply one of the very best breakfasts that I have ever had. A true find. Could not have been more central to the sites of interest of the town. Very spacious room with a good bathroom with excellent facilities. Welcoming items in the room included freshly ground coffee in a sealed jar and delicious filled and coated brandysnaps. We were invited to join the monthly quiz. Great fun and local teams made us welcome. Good breakfast in the morning with variety on offer with a focus on local produce. Evening meal was very good and also unusual with tapas-style dishes of Italian style cooking. Recommended. We shall return.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We only had breakfast one morning but it was lovely and good value. The staff were very friendly.
