Wonderful stay at the Greencourt Loft. We just stayed there one night but we hope definitely to come again. The Loft is so nicely decorated and very comfortable. The area is so beautiful in the middle of the Costwolds, near the Costwolds Path. The hospitality of Sara was great. She welcomed us warmly with all advices we needed for our short stay. Very very recommended. We will be back .

Breakfast was very basic and was a giant croissant with either coffee or tea and for a continental breakfast we thought there might be yoghurt as an option as my wife can’t eat pastry however there’s a co op just opposite the lazy goose.

I often have an idea of what a place will be like and how the room will be often to find it’s shabby or we are stuck with a view of the car park. However we had a lovely room where both children actually had a bed each. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for Gloucester and Stroud. Even found an outdoor pool for the kids not too far away. Considering it’s a pub near a train line (clues in the name 😉) not one of us had issues sleeping which is a first. Very quiet at night. Excellent food.
