This was an experience so different from any other we have had while on vacation. We relished the silence, with no sounds other than those from nature. Edward, Hester, and their daughters were very welcoming and they gave us wonderful suggestions for places to go during the day and where to eat in the evening. We had a lovely cup of tea and brownies upon arrival, overlooking the hillside. The home is truly lovely, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was gourmet!

Red Lion Inn really made an impression on me. It was so incredibly cozy--my room was a tiny attic room, and yet I had everything I needed, and enjoyed snuggling up there. Bridget thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The bedroom decor was lovely, lots of lovely little touches including bottled water, fresh milk each day for our tea and coffee, great walk in shower, heated towel rail. She welcomed us on arrival with a little drink and snack. Breakfast each day was delicious and the ingredients were as locally sources as they could be.
