5 star B&B. Beautiful old house. The room was tastefully decorated to a high standard. Lovely, comfortable bed. The bathroom was amazing with a walk in shower and rainforest shower head. The hosts were friendly and hospitality outstanding. Fantastic breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.

The hosts are lovely people they couldn’t have made us more welcome and at home. Not only was the breakfast delicious the set-up of the table downstairs in the dining room in front of the fire was so cozy. Was perfect for a short cozy break for me and my partner.

The owner, Sarah, was a very loving, caring person. She was always available to help and was happy to tell about the area. She is so special and a reason why I will definitely return there. The breakfast was a typical English breakfast - very rich. Sarah made sure I had a gluten-free diet because I'm gluten intolerant. Also cooked me lunch and we were twice having a BBQ. The room which I had, had pretty much everything you needed, like a water cooker, dresser, TV, clothes stand, etc. and if anything was missing, Sarah made sure you were taken care of. The room looked very comfortable and the bed was one of the first beds besides my own where I could sleep without having back hurting. The bathroom was modern. The farm is beautiful, you even have access to rivers. The area is near the beach, near the hoad (that's what they call the light tower there), the prairie and the meditation center.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly. We didn’t spend much time in the pub but the time we did it was excellent. The food was absolutely spot on. Couldn’t have asked for any more.

Beautifully restored cottage with many original features. Very clean, quiet, comfortable, lovely room, very hot water and excellent shower. Steve made me very welcome. Really enjoyed my stay and hope to return. Lovely countryside with views to the Coniston fells. Excellent pub and cafe a few minutes walk down the road.
