The location is fantastic in a corner of heaven. Located in center Makrinitsa, a mountain village overlooking Volos and the sea, the view is spectacular. Around there are trees as old as the world itself.... The hosts are amazing people, I loved the room and the breakfast is very good 😊. We were three people and a border collie and I will definitely come back again ❤️.

We stayed twice in Archontiko Repana on different dates, this traditional historical mansion is magnificently decorated. Immaculate and all facilities available. And the home owner Ms. Demi, this wonderful lady warmly welcomed us. She is incredibly hospitable and kind. The breakfast, pastries and all other foods (and of course baklava) she prepared with her hands were so delicious. It was really "harika" to meet her. We miss our talks with her in the inn-yard. Makrinas Traditional Home is located in Makrinitsa, 14 km from the Pelion Ski Centre. Its apartments contain a fireplace and balconies with views of the village of Portaria and the Pagasetic Gulf.

All units have a seating area. Each is heated and air conditioned and include a LCD TV and DVD player. They also have a dining area and kitchenette with kitchenware. The use of the fireplace is subject to extra charges, while wood and BBQ facilities are available upon request. 1 min uphill drive is required from Makrinitsa main parking space. Parking space is nearby and requires 30-40meters walking in old traditional stone path plus about 40 steps to reach guesthouse level. Assistance for carrying the luggage to the guest house may be provided for a small fee

The apartment was amazing! We will keep booking this property every time we visit from now on! There was an amazing view, an incredibly modern interior design, the mattresses and the beds felt like a 5star hotel, the kitchen was fully equipped, the living room had very high standard of furniture. It felt like a very comfortable, warm and with high quality property. The host really takes care of the place and the visitors. For example, we did not have matches for the fireplace and the host brought us matches immediately! He also suggested great places for food coffee and things to do. THE BEST PLACE IN MAKRINITSA! DONT MISS IT!
