it was very quiet and peaceful, and decorated beautifully, the whole upstairs floor had a nice seating area. The proprietress,Anne was lovely and a very gracious hostess. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Everything was wonderful from the first call we made to let them know we will be arriving late, as we were waiting for our flat tire to be fixed, to the morning we left, The genuine concern and caring about our situation was very heartwarming, and their friendliness was appreciated. Breakfast was great, beds were very comfortable, rooms were spotless. Evening tea and biscuits were always welcoming us which was a very nice touch. We hope to return again!

Great choice for breakfast, and super service from the friendly team at Baginbun Lodge. Lovely outside dining space. Great location with a private car park, made exploring the area so easy (didn't have the worry of not being able to find a parking spot at the end of the day).

Fethard is a small village but has all the basics, i.e., shop,pub, cafe ,pharmacy, takeaway. Locals were friendly. Liam gave us loads of tips on walks. The castle and motte were fine examples of the type. Fethard is a good base to explore the peninsula.
