Without a second thought, you can go for it. It was beyond my expectations.

The owner of the property Joseph made my stay absolutely outstanding. He took care not only of the room and stay, but gave a full guidance on all sights, organized tours, recommended restaurants, aurveda spas, called a taxi to the airport and even helped with food delivery. Absolutely stellar service, I've never experienced before! Room was very neat and clean. Homemade breakfast was amazing. The area is quiet and green. Location is outside Munnar, however it does not cause any inconvenience - it is easy to get around and reach any sights. Shops, restaurants, ATM, etc are 15 minutes walk, 5 minutes drive.

Lovely family. They were very welcoming. Sylvie is an excellent cook and we sat down every night to have dinner with them all. Sylvie also grows her own organic cardamom and coffee that you can buy. Can’t wait to try them when I get home! We also booked their tours they offered. We had a lovely day exploring the tea plantations and a flower garden with Sylvie. Lots of pictures were taken for the memories. We also went on the early morning hike with Babu. Beautiful scenery! You won’t see anywhere else like it. Nothing is a problem, and they are very generous with their time and energy. You will have a good time in Munnar if you stay here, they really look after you. Prepare to have lots of laughs, they’ve a great sense of humour.

    Absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing views of Munnar hill country. Rooms were spacious with private balcony. Nice to enjoy a more ‘western style’ bathroom after the wet rooms style of our India travels. Air conditioning good and quiet. Requests such as ice or ironing board super promptly to room. They also managed to accommodate my request for adjacent rooms. Adults infinity pool was closed for renovation but family pool was still lovely.

    I had a wonderful stay at Maharaja Cottage. This is located in old Munnar close to great restaurants (must go to Sree pure veg Restaurant) easy walk to the main centre. Close access to trekking. Roby and his staff are amazing and very accommodating. Room was clean and quiet. I had a small medical issue and Roby sent for my medicine. Roby was so kind and caring and a great host. Absolutely would recommend

    amazing homestay, very quiet in the middle of nature, only one room, so very peaceful. clean room, comfortable bed, hot water. amazingly helpful family. incredible home cooked meals. I did a cooking class because of the tasty food which was great too. Silvy is a great host and helps with everything. She also offers guided hikes. highly recommended!

    Great location if you come to Munnar without private vehicle and rely on public transport to discover the region. Central and quiet at the same time, unusual for Munnar. Great balconies at the back to relax after a full day of hiking. The manager Roniy is very friendly and has lots of great recommendations to help you enjoy Munnar and its beautiful surroundings. Don't miss it!

    Rooms are quite spacious and big. Beds were quite big and comfy. Hot shower was available after a decently long drive. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast was a mix of Indian and Some continental through a buffet. Check in and Check Out was quick. Helpful with our local transportation. Cottages was quiet and private.

    Fantastic staff, absolutely friendly and helpful. A lot of complimentary activities offered which were all nice to do. The location is a little off the main road but this comes with really peaceful and quiet surroundings. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious and really cheap compared to other hotel restaurants. We did the 5h hike with the external guide (700INR) which was really worth it and a great experience.
