It was relaxing and out of the main tourist area - but only a short 15-20 minute walk from the ferry or train. Mr. Enzo was an exceptional host who made sure his guests have everything they need (and, if you don’t feel like walking - he might just come pick you up!) The view was lovely. after traveling in Italy for 4 weeks - this was the reprieve I needed. the little pool was perfect after a long day too - doesn’t seem like much until you get in it! Hope to visit again! Maybe in the winter for snowboarding.

It was like staying in heaven! The view is extremely beautiful, you're met with an amazing host as soon as you arrive who also prepared the most enormous breakfast. Bonus - there's an extremely cute dog there. Also, got to enjoy some peaceful time in the hot tub and sauna. We've received a detailed description of the surrounding area which lead us to the beautiful church where we saw the breathtaking mountains. The host picked us up at the station as well and during our stay dropped us off in the city if we needed it.

Everything decorated with the smallest details, cleanliness, wonderful paintings which was even more astonishing when I see her signature under the paintings. We feel super comfortable. Mauro's Villa is close enough to the train station and town to be convenient, yet far enough to be a sanctuary from the crowds. Stunning views of the lake and Alps from the balcony and room. Delightful conversations with the hosts and a delicious breakfast. Best shower we've had all trip! Will definitely stay here again when we return.
