The Cervinia ski slopes are reachable in about 20 minutes by car. You are advised to bring your own vehicle as Lo Barba bed and breakfast is not serviced by public transport.

Guest house L'Ancien Paquier is in the historic centre of Valtournenche and has a classic mountain design, made of natural stone and wood. Rooms come with wood floors, warm colour schemes and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms include free parking.

A super nice family run hotel in the Cervinia-Valtournenche ski area. The hotel is ca 5 min by car / village ski bus from the main lift in Valtournenche, and is then linked skiing to Cervinia and the Swiss Zermatt ski areas. Alternatively you can drive or take the bus to Cervinia (ca 15 min) and start from there. We did both. The rooms are as pictured, have all the necessities and are cleaned daily. The hotel also has a ski room with heated boot stands. The best part is the couple (Paola and Fabio) who run the hotel, they are so nice and hospitable. Paola called us ahead on the day of our arrival to inform on the weather conditions and give further instructions for arrival. During your stay, each day start with with their freshly cooked tasty breakfast and recommendations on the weather and where to go skiing this day. They also provide recommendations on dinner etc. The food they offer is local and made with love! Valtournenche is a small picturesque village, it is definitely more quiet than Cervinia, but matched our wishes. So overall a great stay and we recommend it for a ski holiday in the Cervinia/Zermatt area!

It was a perfect stay! We felt like we are a part of an Italian family. The breakfast was excellent. The nights were so quite. They have a great ski room and you can get to the nearest cable car just 10 minutes walk by a beautiful route near the river. Or just take the bus, the stop is 2 minutes from this stay. At the inn, every room comes with a balcony with a mountain view. Locanda monte cervino provides certain rooms that include city views, and each room is fitted with a private bathroom with a bidet. At the accommodation rooms have a desk and a flat-screen TV.

Room was super clean, nice, and spacious. People at locanda were very kind and I was very touched by everything they have done for me during the stay. They tried their best to offer what I requested. Highly recommend locanda monte cervino. It was one of the most memorable stay during my travel in Europe. Thank you so much for your kindness.
