Of the hosts we've had on our five week trip to Italy, Stefania was the kindest and most helpful. We had difficulty leaving Tarquinia, owing to a train strike, and she was right there to do her best to ease the problem for us. Tarquinia, by the way, is a hidden gem, just 1 1/2 hours north of Rome - a walled hill town, in ancient times a capital of the Etruscan civilization. One of Italy's two major Etruscan necropolises is there. Wonderful painted tombs. The town also has beautiful, mostly medieval, churches and a major museum devoted to the Etruscans. We were there on a weekend - there were not many tourists, and they almost all Italian day-trippers.

I received a very warm and accommodating welcome even though I turned up much earlier than I expected due to quick public buses. Great location very near museum and main bus station as well as a range of restaurants/cafes. Could walk to the necropolis and all major sights. Very comfortable stay with a continental breakfast with homemade cake. The kettle was handy, as was the fridge for cold water. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Timber beams 100s of years old, but updated space with nice bathroom and ACFresh pastries from a local bakery and a personal shelf in the fridge for our family with yogurt and juice. Clean and nicely renovated with a small communal kitchen with enough to prep snacks for hungry teens. Good location in the center of old town. Absolutely worth visiting the Etruscan sites, accessible ancient history in a friendly medieval town

The property is a gem. The owner Garmy didn't go the extra step--she went the extra mile to help me. My GPS that came with the rental car did not show her road and I couldn't find the B&B. She met me downtown tarquina and had me follow her to the B&B. She also had me follow her to Civitavecchia to return the car to Avis and took me to my hotel there before catching my cruise ship the next day. Even after I was so upset when I could find the B&B. The room was so beautiful and perfect. She treated me like family.

Everything was perfect. I went for a relaxing weekend and to see the sights. It was perfect. All the breakfast was available in the apartment I had. There was cold water in the fridge when I arrived. The bed was comfortable, although I would have preferred a sheet between the comfort and fitted sheet.

The apartment is spacious, including a fully functioning kitchen. The host made check-in very easy and met us at the parking at a time convenient for us. Parking costs only €3 every 24 hours and is literally 300 meters from the property. The property is conveniently located in the charming historical centre of Tarquinia. Clean, spacious, quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a bit of a funny place to get to, but it was affordable, quiet, and clean (we were there in the off-season, so mid-April). They let us check in early, which was great because it allowed us time to visit and have dinner in the nearby town of Tarquinia, which is charming. The included breakfast was also surprisingly good.
