Despite old, the property was really nice. I got free ticket for onsen nearby, and the property already prepared everything that I need for the onsen (towel, body wash, shampoo, etc), including the tote bag. There was locker for valuables and they provided 2L free water as well.

I loved that breakfast was included and it was such fun to create your on origini. The hostel owner was friendly and provided good recommendations for places to eat Kobe beef and sites to see. The hostel is very well located close to the Shinkansen train station and the herb garden cable car. Also very clean

It was a nice stay on a hostel / capsule. The bed / room is big enough to sit on. I still had privacy. It was near a market so everything is connected.

The rooms are very spacious! To be in the very city centre of a big and busy city I was definitely surprised! We enjoyed our stay, The staff was really kind and helpful. Rooms were impeccably clean and got everything you needed. Comfortable beds and quiet space, also if it's really close to the night life in Kobe.

This is a luxury Onsen and worth every penny spent. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful even by Japanese standards. The (8) Private Onsen's themselves are an absolute delight and I recommend maximising your available time to sample as many of them as you can, the outside ones especially. A special mention goes to their shuttle bus service which will take you right to the door of any restaurant in town (my advice is follow their recommended venues) and pick up you again as soon as you call.

It has the atmosphere and coziness that only an older 5-star hotel would offer. Great location beside the port and within walking distance to Motomachi shopping area, with amazing night views from the room. Excellent breakfast and commendable service.

The interior of hotel is charming and cozy. The staffs are welcoming and hospitable. They offer a shuttle stand by at all times for drop offs to and from the station. I especially love the golden onsen and the private silver onsen in our room.

Wonderful place to stay. I loved making onigiri for breakfast and the personnel accompanied me and we had a lovely chat while making it. The place itself is nice and quiet. It's a 10 minute walk from Shin-Kobe station (although uphill so it's a pain with big luggage). The waterfalls are only a good 15-minute walk away and the city center is about 30 minutes away. There's a bus stop around the corner as well. There's a shared fully equipped kitchen, living room and two showers. I would definitely recommend this place!

It’s understated but in a nice way. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The private Onsen is so relaxing. It’s a luxury to have it all to yourself. We booked a Kaiseki dinner and it was amazing! A big thank you to the Executive chef Yoshihiro Ogasawara!

Small hostel on the side of the Chinese district. Nice, cheap and cozy - good access to the city center so location is a plus. The shower facilities were clean and good quality - though of course renting the bed in shared room it's not entirely private. Still I shared the room with only one other Japanese person and it was a pleasant and relaxing stay.
