    What a gem!! This quiet, peaceful, and picturesque little homestay has managed to mix boutique luxury with a homely feel. The owners are most welcoming, and they will help you in any way they can! The rooms are super clean, and the view of the lagoon is beautiful.     It is one of two large property close to beaches and shops. This is a busy area but at The Residence you are in a quiet tropical paradise. There is a private pool which was warm and relaxing. The unit was exceptional and every detail thought of. The staff were friendly and made delicious breakfasts of our choice. Either western or Sri Lankan. The owner solved all our issues in getting to the airport. As well, arranged a cooking class and tour around Hikkaduwa. I highly recommend this property.

    Excellent family place. Separate villa with a private room and private bathroom. Great location, quiet and in nature. All the services provided by the host are the best in value and experience. I highly recommend the day tour to see more of the local life and get a nice lunch with personal experiences to learn.

    Great location directly on the beach with private garden, beach and sunbeds. The hotel is located about 1 km from the city center what makes your stay even better. The rooms are with sea view. The staff very friendly. We were unexpectedly few hours before our scheduled check in and could still promptly get the room. Also because our flight back was late we could use the garden the whole day after check out and get the shower before leaving Hikkaduwa. The hotel has also own restaurant wirh very good sri lankan food, seefood, coctails.

    Very nice accommodation, good location near the city centre and the beach. Villa is in side street, nice quiet place. The owner and all staff very friendly, excellent breakfast.

    Beautiful ocean view - big balcony few meters from the beach. Private beach with sunbeds and some palmtrees. Calm and quiet surroundings - you need to take a tuktuk to get to the city center - it takes 5 minutes.

    Great location up the quieter side of the beach, next door to the left was a great beachside restaurant the best food by far. The beach was ideal for walking to get the steps in. Nice to get a bike and explore Hikaduwa. Thanks to great hosts they were very attentive.
