We had a wonderful stay at Green sapphire. The location is amazing set amongst rice fields in a rural village where you can walk to a nearby lake and pass by the friendly locals going about their daily life .Our room was so clean and modern and our host Dylan was very kind and informative,The safari organization was great. We saw a leopard cross the road right in front of us at early morning. We saw a lot of other animals to include a family of elephants. The food was also so fresh and delicious.we would definitely recommend staying here and get to feel the real SriLanka away from all the tourist hubs.

On our first day we did a little walk to the Nationalpark by foot and discovered the near by Lake. There is not much to Do arround but we enjoyed this quiete stay. When its dark you hear and See the nature arround. With moskito spray its a awesome experience. Hashan was Our service, Our tuktuk driver and Took us to Safari, which was beautyful. The breakfast, Lunch and dinner was delicious and didnt cost much.

The family are lovely... So helpful. The food was simple but excellent, with the addition of trays of tea produced when we got up and again at tea time. This stay was truly the highlight of our 3 week trip. They arranged a full day safari for us in Wilpattu National Park... And yes, we saw leopards! We really felt staying in the tree house was a magical experience, definitely not to be missed.

The facilities are brand new, rooms was super clean and bed was confy. We had the opportunity to cook our meal with Sajith, the care taker. Great experience overall, we will come back definitely!
