Great place with great host. All clean, cozy and warm. Everything meet our expectations and even more. The best thing for us was the furnace where we could dry our clothes after hiking. Everything was perfect.

Here’s why I highly recommend this charming guest house: Scenic Location: Nestled by the serene Alūksne Lake, Jaunsētas offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The view from my balcony was simply mesmerizing. Breakfast Delight: The breakfast spread was excellent. Freshly prepared, hearty, and oh-so-delicious. It set the perfect tone for my day of exploration. Quiet Serenity: Jaunsētas is a haven of peace. The surroundings are quiet, allowing for restful nights and rejuvenating mornings. Friendly Staff: The staff members were attentive and friendly. We've arrived late (way after check-in hours) the host saw no problems and provided clear instructions how to find our room. Thank you, Jaunsētas, for an unforgettable stay. I’ll be back!

And after you ate everything you ordered, you get offered fresh pancakes. Despite the fact that I walked 25km per day, I gained weight. After the local youth drove to bed with their loud cars, it‘s very quiet. :)
