I was absolutely taken away by the premises of this mini zoo. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, we had animals in our backyard, and we could freely walk around the zoo after hours, which probably was the best part when you're staying with children.

It has the charm of an old grand hotel (the breakfast-room/restaurant is lovely in that style BTW). I was staying in a split-level single room that was more than adequate. I appreciated that the few steps between the bedroom and the bathroom were fitted with automatic lights that would switch on when movements were detected. Very helpful (and safe) if you have to use the bathroom at night. Breakfast was fine and the ladies at the reception were really friendly.
