Each bungalow and room at this property features free WiFi, a private bathroom, mosquito nets and tiled floors. All rooms have a private patio or balcony with rocking chairs and hammocks.

We had an amazing stay at Finca Montania Sagrada. Our hosts were amazing, and the farm was beyond beautiful. Hari took our kids for a little horseriding, my son can not stop planning our next trip to Ometepe eversince. (If you are planning a horse trip, make sure to bring long pants!) The finca is a bit further up from the road but not more than 5-10 minutes by foot, no problem to walk up from there if you do not arrive by a 4x4.

The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

It is set 9.1 km from Maderas Volcano and offers full-day security. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

Maria doesn't really speak english, but she definitely trys hard to make you feel comfortable! Also, the food is really good, you have to try the filete del pescado & banano con leche! We did not meet too many other backpackers in the 4 nights we stayed but nevertheless worth a visit.

Loki the dog was the highlight of Selvista. He came with us all the way up the Maderas volcano and was so sweet and affectionate, not leaving our side the whole way.

Featuring mountain views, El Güis hostel provides accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Maderas Volcano. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests.

The location was great as it was near restaurants and central of the island. The owner was amazing and super friendly. She made you feel like home and also organized everything for you that you needed for a fair price. She also gave you fresh towels and bed linens after two days which was nice. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net which was nice. The shower was cold but had good water pressure. It was a very nice place.

Great spot for watching sunsets, room was perfect for us and it was super quiet and relaxing. Lovely & helpful staff and amazing Nicaraguan breakfasts (we ordered the same one every day). They can also sort out bike hire which is needed as it’s a secluded location but perfect for getting away from crowds and having a chill time.

The private balcony was the best. Could swing in the hammock and watch the sunset over the lake and watch the fireflies flutter around after dark. AC was nice and meant we slept well. Other places with AC on the island are much more money. Food at the restaurant is well priced and big portions. You can book a kayaking tour of the swamps with them. It was very good. The price is very very good for what you get.

This is a 10 from the heart. A very nice family, good food, great location. During the night, you can enjoy a sky full of stars. In the morning, at breakfast , there was a group of howler monkeys very close to us. Sunset views are great as well. The last bus from Moyogalpa to Merida leaves at 4.40pm and it’s a 2 hours trip. There is a sign on the left side of the road just as you leave Merida, the bus will drop you there. Otherwise, it’s a 20-30$ taxi trip. You can have lunch and dinner as well, food was delicious.

Wonderful place to stay. It is located in a quiet area, so it's necessary to have your own transport (quad bike or motorbike). The family kitchen is available for use and they are extremely accommodating! Room was spacious and very clean, a lot of bugs but you need to remember you are in the jungle.

Literally the cutest home. We had the nicest room and it was so clean and beautiful. The building was like an actual house instead of a hotel/hostel feel. Lots of cute chickens and pups running around. A really great host and breakfast. It was so quiet and peaceful.
