If you're needing a place to stay near Groningen, specially after a flight, just take a bus 9 till Eskampenweg and it'll be on the dirt road, just slightly to the right of the stop, all the way at the end. A very warm welcome by the hosts, felt like I was a distant cousin coming to visit them. They were enthusiastic to explain everything about their place in Haren. On the property there was a small but lively garden which had a pond with tiny red fish swimming in it. Room itself was bigger than I expected and had a kitchen in it. Complimentary tea and coffee were included. For this price you cannot get a better deal near Groningen.
