It’s as described: fully self-contained; amazingly quiet and beautiful setting; comfortable and clean. Despite being ‘off-the- grid’, the bathroom was brilliant and I never had a problem with cell phone signal etc. Furnishings and fittings - including a robe that actually fit me - were pretty luxurious. The owner, Ken, went above and beyond to support my visit - including dropping me down to town one day. Town is a walkable 40-50mins - even at my plodding pace - but it’s up a very steep hill on the way back. It would be a walker’s paradise - if I was a walker - tracks off everywhere! Stars have to be seen to be believed.

We’ve stayed in a lot of properties and this has by far been our favorite stay ever. We loved the hosts, they are so welcoming and warm. We loved how comfortable we were. We felt extremely well looked after. We found the host so kind and lovely. We felt like we we staying with family.
