As soon as you pull up to this property, you know you’re about to stay somewhere special. Everywhere you look, from the meticulous gardens to the beautifully preserved 300 year old guest house is perfect and we really felt like we were stepping back in time. The location was also amazing, just a short walk to the fort, the souk and numerous places to eat. The staff were all warm and friendly as well. Thoroughly recommend staying here as it was by far the best place we stayed in Oman.

It is a very convenient location but you need a car to get there and move around, it is about 15 - 20 mins drive to city centre which is the main attraction but on a highway interconnection so very convenient to get in and out of the city. Hotel is basic and mostly geared for local tourists. It has all the basic amenities but not luxury by any means. We had a comfortable stay.
