We found out this is an independant room and acually it was a good surprise, as we thought we would be sharing the flat with the host. Susana is a sweet person - we have well communicated before our arrival, during our stay and the day we left. She was available in case we needed someting. For instance, I asked for an iron, she was nice enough to buy a brand new one plus an ironboard, and to leave if in front of our door. I can tell, this has been highly appreciated. Alvor is a very charming village, we loved the different restaurants and boutiques nearby. It's 10-mn driving from Praia da Rocha, which was ideally located to attend the festival Afronation. About the room: it was perfectly clean, beds were comfy, we used both the fridge and the microwave, and also the cutleries/dishes. In the bathroom, several towels and shower gel are furnished. An hairdryer is also at your disposal. I have no hesitation in recommending that place.
