We liked this place very much. It is absolutely quiet. No barking dogs, and no road traffic! (This is VERY rare on Madeira, especially in Funchal!!). Nice view of the mountains and the ocean. There is a large kitchen, which is very well equipped. Our host is extremely helpful and friendly. Even though we did not speak Portuguese, we managed to communicate with google translate easily. We warmly recommend this place to people who like QUIET places and like to sleep at night and discover the beautiful northern part of Madeira. Bolo do Caco Grill is close by (by car) and highly recommended to eat there and enjoy the stunning view!

The place is very nice! The room was clean and spacious and it had a great view to the surrounding hills/ mountains, while in the courtyard you have a great view to the ocean. The breakfast was very tasty. The hosts are really friendly and make you feel welcome. There is also a parking lot assigned to the property. Good to know is that you can wash clothes in an outside sink (if needed) and then you can dry them out in the yard.
