What can we say? A stunning hillside retreat! We found Villa Manaaki incredibly relaxing, beautiful and an amazing introduction to La Reunion. The hotel's great location is close to many hiking trails, including the Le Maïdo viewpoint. Owners are very nice and helpful, even though we don't speak a bit of French, they tried to communicate important things at least with the help of a translator app. I would recommend buying food and drink supplies, there is nothing nearby within walking distance, at least as far as I know. But the accommodation has a well equipped kitchen to use. If you rent a car, definitely choose one with a more powerful engine. Sometimes there are some pretty steep hills on the way 🙈

Quiet neighborhood, welcome staff, spoke English. Large room very clean, private parking where you can turn around in the back that’s gated. Fridge in room. Hot shower. Nice seating are in front of house. Very good value for the money 50 euro. Would stay again.
