Great place to stay located in beautiful Lamai, few minutes walk to fresh food market, 7/11 and beach. C Samui guesthouse also offers breakfast, laundry service, motorbike rental, travel agency and fishing shop. Room is basic but spacious and clean with comfortable bed. All the ladies working there are lovely and kind, able to help with everything you might need. Owners are genuine people, very interested and helped with booking my journey back to Bangkok (I had to leave early and 12goasia and other few companies had tickets sold out for morning transfer). Surprisingly good. Ticked all of the boxes. Very clean room, larger than expected, nice bed, nice balcony, a bunch of stuff like wifi, cable TV, and refrigerator that I didn't use. Room smelled fresh. Great natural light. The price was great given the location and peak season. On a quiet street, a couple of minutes walk from Lamai Beach and commercial centre. The manager was pleasant, direct, and straight forward. Passport, money, keys, done. Doesn't look like much from outside, and it's by no means a high end offering, but they've nailed the basics. Wish I could've stayed for longer but they were booked out.
