Conveniently located 4.8 km from Stanford University, Comfort Inn Palo Alto is minutes from popular attractions, including California's Great America, the San Jose Convention Center, the Shoreline Amphitheater and the Winchester Mystery House.

A complimentary hot breakfast is available and features eggs, meat, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal and more, including your choice of hot waffle flavors.

It was close to Stanford Hospital and lots of places to eat in close proximity. Beds were big enough for two sisters to sleep in . And a fairly decent continental breakfast.

Great location, family owned and run (I think?), quiet, a comfortable bed, clean a refrigerator that worked and wasn't noisy, a microwave (which I didn't use, so this would be good for a short self-catering budget stay in Palo Alto). There's a small pool which I didn't use, but looks well-maintained and a nice arrangement, with a forested ravine bounding the hotel and giving the pool lounging area a surprisingly natural ambience from looking in.

I liked everything. great bed, assortment of pillows including down, friendly staff, small but well kept pool area, lovely continental breakfast, quiet and clean, nice shower head and toiletries, frankly everything you would get in a luxury hotel but for a budget price. I highly recommend if you need to visit the Stanford campus.

I love the space in the room, and it felt like home. There were many channels for viewing, and it was a quiet and serene place to chill out. There was a lovely garden with a beautiful fountain for relaxing but it was too cold in March to sit outside for too long The hairdryer was powerful to dry the hair quickly and we are delighted to have complimentary water in the room and snacks in the office.

Charming small hotel in heart of down town Palo Alto. So refreshing versus the modern characterless hotels elsewhere in the city

Short drive to Stanford hospital. Clean, safe and inviting property with beautiful lemon trees. Cozy room, comfy bed, nice little extras like lip balm and ear plugs. The property was very quiet though. Man at front desk was helpful and thorough.
