The property was beautiful and clean. The owner was one of the friendliest people I have ever met, and she was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and places to see. There is a lot of wildlife around the lodge, and there is a nice walk along the river nearby where you can spot elephants and other animals in Kruger.

The warm welcome by the owner set the tone. The friendly and super efficient staff kept us feeling welcome. The place is fully equipped and super clean. The beds are comfortable and ensure a good night's rest. The abundant wildlife (comprising wildebeest, giraffe, kudu, bushbuck, duiker, zerbra, bush baby, warthogs and many birds to mention a few) kept us entertained and came as close as three meters from where we sat. Even your car is kept safe under a carport.

Kay & Ryan are great hosts that went out of their way to accommodate us and ensure that we were taken care of. The shower was lovely & hot with ample pressure. Lots of animals came to visit us. So nice to have at leat 3 trays of ice in the freezer... most places have 1 tiny one. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again
