Fully equipped as you really do need to be self catering due to its isolation. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast, cold drinking water provided as well as tea and coffee. Very comfortable indeed. The track down to the apartments is steep and rough but we were escorted down by Shaban who settled us in and was on hand if we needed anything. He can help you restock if you run out. The only shower in Bulgaria not to flood the bathroom during our entire holiday! Lake lovely to swim in but take river shoes to make getting in easier.

However, I did not know what to expect from Villa Irina, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. First, I met Irina, the owner of the property, who is a wonderful and cordial person, and she made sure I had everything that I needed. The villa can comfortably host 4-5 adults, as we were very comfortable staying 3 adults and 3 children. The quality of the furnishing, kitchen appliances, space, and view are for property at much higher category than its star rating. It was an exceptional value for the money at the prices we paid in July 2022. Finally, it is at a prime location between two of the best hotels in the village. You can enjoy everything around, and have the privacy and home feeling.
