The location was perfect for us, as we frequently crossed the border into Italy, and also travelled up into the lakes of Switzerland. The hosts were warm and welcoming, along with their hospitality, which was attentive without being intrusive. Our morning breakfasts were at an additional cost, however, the amount of food was unbelievable, as well as there being such a wide variety of freshly cooked pastries, lattice’s and deserts, along side traditional breads, cheeses, meat and fruit selections. With my partner being a vegetarian, our hosts made sure that her dietary needs were met, along with a daily explanation, which we found extremely understanding and adaptable. The scenery and upkeep of the grounds were exemplary, and there was a clear sense of pride in it’s appearance. Our room was bright, airy and spacious, with every attention to detail met. We opted for an apartment with a kitchenette and balcony, where everything we needed was already in place. Really very well thought out and of good quality, which was a great touch. It's set up in the hills, in a very charming town with several excellent restaurants and all the conveniences within walking distance. Parking is very easy. The owners and staff are extremely nice, and the breakfasts are wonderful.
