Great location on a quiet street close to downtown Mindelo. The owners are gracious and lovely people. Comfortable room, attentive staff, excellent breakfasts (two kinds of cheese and bread, fruit and yogurt, bacon and eggs) and plunge pool. City beach about a ten minute walk.

We stayed there for only one night, but if we could redo our vacation we would stay there for at least 3 nights. The location is idyllic. You can go snorkeling with the turtles right outside your door. There is an amazing view over the ocean from the shared balcony. JP is the perfect host. He carried our luggage, offered to do our laundry, arranged a taxi for us, etc. His hospitality was never ending! The accommodation was of superb quality, according to European standards. Great shower, good bed, everything was spotlessly clean. Towels and even washcloths are provided.

There was also a balcony. The bathroom was super clean. The owner was really friendly and the breakfast she prepared was great too. Even if the place is not located in the center of Mindelo, it is not far by foot and one can also take a bus a few meters from the house next to a nice bar/restaurant and reach the center of the city in a few minutes (for 40 cents!).

I liked the location, close to the beach and a few restaurants and shops. I also appreciated the hosts, both Sonia and Anselmo were super helpful with everything, from my check-in to helping me with information of the islands, and their breakfast was great for me since I don't like waking up too early to go look for food 😅. All in all, a great stay!

@Georgette features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Mindelo, a few steps from Praia Da Laginha. Georgette's place is very clean and comfortable and the location couldn't be better with a beautiful view of Laginha Beach and within walking distance from the port, restaurants and other main attractions.
