The village where De Octopus is located is friendly, peaceful and safe. I spent a wonderful, relaxing time there! To be honest, I didn't expect so many different animals (I'm not talking about the owners' wonderful dogs and cat, of course 🙂), but after all, that's what living close to nature entails. Fortunately, the mosquito net allowed me to sleep undisturbed🙂

There are 3 thermostats to control air temperature in each bedroom and living room separately. The staff is maintaining the complex daily and cleaning the units every 3-4 days. Also, the necessity supplies (dish washing liquid, paper towels, toilet paper,,..) are being topped up at the same time. To be able to park the car inside the apartment complex was very convenient.

At the guest house, all units have bed linen and towels. the property is beautiful and the owners make it feel super special. they are accommodating, genuine and friendly. my boyfriend and I stayed at Riu palace for 9 nights and here at Yoyita Suites for 2 nights and although you can’t compare the 2 because they’re so different, this place felt so refreshing and intimate and we’re planning to stay here again. the rooms are immaculate, the beds are so comfortable and the room is equipped with everything you’d typically need whilst on vacation. they have the beach towels and cooler bucket which is a great touch. location is great, short walk to the beach and there is a mini market within walking distance too.

My kid enjoyed the swimming pool, sit out area, and entire property was very well maintained. Has free car parking and the host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very comfortable and relaxed. Host suggested all the wonderful beaches to visit, and even helped us with arranging a rental car even though it was in a huge demand. One of the best resort I have stayed so far and very family friendly. Nancy and Wilko were the best and will definitely stay here all the time I visit Curacao.
