The landlord was very friendly and accommodating. The pension was very well located in the center of Malente, on foot or bike you could reach all important sights and destinations. Service was excellent, breakfast great! If you didn't feel like going on an excursion, you could linger in the beautifully tended garden of the guest house. There were enough parking spaces for cars, as well as storage space for bicycles.

We would definitely like to return for a longer stay. Can't recommend it enough for comfort, relaxation and rejuvenation.

The family-run Landhaus Schulze-Hamann - Hotel garni - is located in Blunk, on the border to Holstein Switzerland. It offers a pretty garden with a pond and beautifully designed flower beds. Fabulous place for a stop over. Staff helped me with my early start the next day by making up a on the go breakfast.... Brilliant! Really greatful and made such a difference to my next days travel.
