Air conditioning, hot showers, big rooms with storage space, comfy beds, clean with daily housekeeping, filtered drinking water, free breakfast every morning on a beautiful terrace, walkable to the main part of town but far enough removed for quiet, laundry available, quick communication. But best of all, the hostel hosts Trudy and Ivan were the most wonderful people and completely made our stay. Ivan has lived his whole life on San Cristobal and worked as a fisherman, and Trudy is descended from the first descendants of Floreana Island (also in the Galapagos). They are so kind and friendly, helped us with information and recommendations, and we so appreciated getting to learn about them and their story. If you stay at Hostal Cattleya, you support a true local family. We love you Trudy and Ivan!

Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. Alfredo and his family were lovely and the hostel was immaculately clean. Lovely garden with fruit (which I could eat), water supplied, snorkel rental and recommendations for the tours/ferries. A nice relaxing place to stay.

At the bed and breakfast, every unit includes bed linen and towels. This place is a taxi ride away from down town (4 dollars). This gives you more tranquility and a fresher enviorment than being down town. The place also has a small pool which was refreshing.They offer free pickup and drop off in the first and last day. Room was clean and the communication with the hosts was great at all times. They also prepared great breakfast and gave us a packed breakfast for the days we left early. A great stay.

Lovely hosts and room with pool and delicious breakfast. They picked us up at the airport abc helped arrange some awesome tours.

Helping us plan our day, organising a guided tour, recommending a restaurant, sorting our laundry. They were always on hand to answer our questions or provide help. It genuinely felt like we were their friends, rather than just guests at the hotel. The hotel breakfast was a highlight.....home cooked and delicious with local treats. We only had one night at the Casa Playa Mann, but we wished we had stayed longer. Strongly recommend!!

We just loved the vibe of the place and the view of the ocean in a distance. It is a little bit of a walk from town but cabs are reasonably priced to make the way back home. The rooms are up on the third floor - great view but you need to walk up the stairs to get to your room.
