Excellent service and and a lot of detail has gone into the rooms. Very comfortable beds with everything you need. Natalie and her partner made us feel very welcome even though we arrived later than expected.

L'Esplanade Lille is set in the historic centre of Lille in front of the Citadel of Lille and a 14-minute walk from Lille Grand Place. Pierre Mauroy Stadium is a 21-minute drive and Nouveau Siècle Convention Centre is 1 km from this bed and breakfast. Free WiFi access is provided. Seriously, this is one of the best hotels I have booked. Ambiance is perfect. The room is lovely, large, comfortable, clean, warm and with a beautiful view. 5-10mins walk to the center and nice bars or restaurants. Breakfast was peaceful, with a nice view and appretizing.

Our guests were very welcoming and directed us to local sights and restaurants. The accommodation was exquisite. Petit Dejeuner with home-made marmalade was wonderful. The owners have exceptional taste & have established a beautiful, relaxing environment for their guests. Bruno was very helpful & provided us with useful local information for our 1 night stay. The location is also perfect for a bit of sight seeing & eating out all on foot. It was a fabulous end to our French holiday before crossing the tunnel, which is only 30 mins away.

At the property, there is an in-house family-friendly restaurant serving dinner and a selection of vegetarian options. Friendly amazing food 4 course evening meal and breakfast was cooked by our host a lot of the preserves and yogourt was home made. Facilities in the bedroom with tea, shower very good and coffee machine and water, we had a whole floor to ourselves, with a very friendly cat. Would definitely come back especially for the food.
