The Ship Hotel is less than 13 miles from both Chester and Liverpool. All of the attractions of the Wirral are close by, including the village of Port Sunlight, the Lady Lever Art Gallery, and the area's many golf courses, including the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake (host to the British Open in 2014). Really great restored building in a pretty part of the Wirral. Everything you need for a great stay. Awesome breakfast too! Lovely friendly staff.

The breakfast was superb and the complimentary snacks were good quality. The location is close to the old buildings and river. We got a parking permit for spot in front of the building.

At the guest house, every unit is equipped with a private bathroom. A lovely quaint farm well located and easy to find. We booked three rooms and each one was nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. There were coffee stations in the rooms with the nice touch of a chocolate placed on top of each coffee cup. The bathroom was well lit so it wasn’t a problem putting on make up. The bed was very comfortable and most importantly the bedroom and en-suite were spotlessly clean.
