First class facilties in the room- very clean, hot showers and a comfy bed. Large veranda with comfortable seating and a fridge to keep our drinks cool. Also equipped with a kettle to make our own hot drinks. Beautiful views over garden at the front of the house and our room faced the rear, with extensive views over open countryside. Genial and friendly hosts, with excellent English helped us when we needed it, but didn't intrude. The house is situated on the edge of the old village so we could get a small taste of local life as well as visiting the quieter temples in the area. Simple but tasty breakfasts, with good coffee.

He also personally picked us up from and dropped us at the railway station. The homestay is located very close to the historical Western group of temples.

Helpful, caring, polite, pleasant...a truly wonderful stay. The hotel itself is the best bang for your back. Unpretentious but clean and steps away from the main attractions in Orchha.
