We had a most enjoyable stay at B&B Poggiolo. Andrea and Valeria are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our suite is spacious, with a fabulous view of Lake Maggiore and the islands. The rooms are tastefully furnished; the bathroom is modern; everything is spotless. We slept very well at night as the house and surrounding area were completely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was set up in a nice room downstairs, and the spread was lovely every morning. For dinner, there’s a highly rated restaurant within walking distance. One could also take a short drive to nearby towns or to Stresa. We had a rental electric car and used a charging station 12-minutes away on the route to A26. We went to the islands, of course, and drove around Lake Maggiore, stopping at a few towns. The whole area is beautiful.

The breakfast was extraordinary delicious! I need to come back to taste all fantastic dishes. They were very helpful in making a reservation in advance in a very good restaurant nereby. The food there was awesome - including a lake view! it was a wonderful start for my trip so I was able to reach the sea only by walking (starting from Susa). Without their food I might have not been able to do that ;) Thanks a lot for your warm welcome. We had a great time!

The units at the bed and breakfast include air conditioning and a desk. The place was exquisite! Beutiful, peacful, quiet. Serounded by green and natural beuty, with a lovely view. The place speaks of quality and attention to details. The hosts were most welcoming, warm, interesting to talk to, and extreemly helpful with whatever we asked. They are gorgeous and fine cooks, and serves home made restuarant like dinner and service - we felt like we arrived to heaven and are eating in a 5 stars place. I'm an Israrli, and my travel partner is from NYC - and we both so deeply appriciated the very special place, and felt we would like to come back and of course let our friends know about it with the highest rec omandations.
