The hotel has a magical view from the room to the lake! The lady of the house is wonderful and makes the best breakfast i have ever had. The rooms are spacios on clean. Me and my friend we really fell in love with this place and would go back any time again 😍 We arrived there by foot - would recommend by car if not in to walking 😅 but we loved it!

Everything was fabulous. A true gem of a B&B. Very clean and comfortable room, with breathtaking views across the lake. Orsetta made us feel very welcome, providing us with a lovely selection of homemade dishes and local produce each morning for breakfast. She also provided advice on all the local sights and ideas on where to go for meals out etc, even booking us into the excellant nearby restaurant for evening meals.

We had a fabulous stay! We were made very welcome. The host is a brilliant cook and so friendly. Breakfasts were the best ever with some very personal touches. Fruit and vegetables from the garden are made into delicious dishes. A nearby family run restaurant is fabulous. We have already decided to return. There is plenty more to see and do. Thank you to Orsetta for being such a wonderful and fun host!

We absolutely loved our stay! Orsetta and Luigi were so kind and cooked the most magnificent food. Our hosts went above and beyond in every respect, from driving us to local attractions (we didn't bring a car), to providing recommendations for dining options for our day trip to Milan. We loved our conversations over breakfast with Orsetta and the other guests, and the apartment dog Zwieb was another lovely addition to our stay. The apartment was tastefully designed with some cool prints and ornaments from around Italy, which as Italophiles we really appreciated. It was also good to have a choice of sitting areas with beautiful views of the lake. Our stay could not have been better - a real treat and a genuine slice of la dolce vita :)

The hose was very traditional and charming, the view from the balcony was incredible and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was very modern and had everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic but too much food to eat! The host was very kind and helpful.

We stayed at Ratto del Gallo for 5 nights, in a lovely one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a small living room (there are also rooms at the B&B). The hostess, Orsetta, is a kind and warm lady, who likes to help with useful tips and suggestions about daily trips in the area. The location is amazing' just above Stresa, with beautiful views of Lago Maggiore. Breakfast is superb with high quality local products and freshly baked pies and cakes. We highly recommend this B&B!
