This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Great location for exploring Lamu. The views from the balcony are stunning.

It was within easy reach of the harbour (and boats) to explore Lamu. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable - we requested champagne on arrival for our Honeymooning guests, and a birthday cake later on - and these were no problem for Safari and the team.

The hotel was very clean and all the amenities were just as described The room was very spacious, the air condition and fan made it very comfortable. Jivanji was very hospitable and all the staff were very polite. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the ocean. A good variety of Swahili goodies.
