Breakfast was included with my reservation and the hosts will also provide lunch and dinner if you request. Definitely stay for the meals! The hostess bakes some wonderful breads, she makes homemade yogurt and jams, and somehow she even finds the time to make dessert for the evening meal. The host mentioned he used to be a chef in a restaurant and that fact is obvious in his cooking skills. Between the two of them, all my meals were absolutely delicious! Kep is a quiet little town but Le Logis de Kep is the jewel of the area.

At Khmer House Guesthouse, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Cambodian cuisine. We loved it here. The sun terrace on the top floor is a dream and the free wonky bicycle rental really was perfect. The room itself was biiiig and the building must have been built smartly, as even though we only used a fan it wasn’t too hot at all. The location is good too, it’s close to a cheapish guesthouse and many local shops along the main road. The bed was super cosy and the hosts were very helpful too with onward travel and scooter rental.
