My 9-year old son and I left today and already miss beautiful Dorandoran Guesthouse. We had a traditional room and loved sleeping on the floor matress. And the room smells sooo good! Perfect location for what we wanted to see. And best of all: the kind and caring hosts. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back to Gyengju and stay here again :)

Amazing hanok stay in the heart of Gyeongju, but on a side street, so it was peaceful and quiet. The bed is of course a futon, don't expect a normal bed, because it is a traditional house. The owners are extremely kind, they kept our luggage for the night when we stayed at a temple and afterwards on the last day for the whole afternoon after the check out. There are only a few rooms and this is what makes it special. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone! It is a must do when in Gyeongju!

Wolyeongchae consists of 4 rooms, 2 internal bathrooms, 1 external bathroom, a shared kitchen, and a shared living room. This is a comfortable and quiet hanok accommodation located snugly like a bird's nest in a residential alley. Perfectly clean and generously stocked with tea, coffee etc. We received a very warm welcome and lots of information. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location was fantastic and to know that this hanok was the home of someone very important in Korean history and to meet his 16th generation descendent was beyond expectation. The fellow studied in the states so spoke great English which was very helpful.

It is right in the heart of the center with lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes. The room I stayed was still on a bigger side for a traditional Hanok setting. The host is very sweet and the breakfast from his wife was very delicious and nutritional. Highly recommended!
