Perfect location for what we wanted to see. And best of all: the kind and caring hosts. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back to Gyengju and stay here again :)

The host introduced me to another guest who had access to a car. She kindly agreed to let me tag along during her sightseeing. As a result I was able to see things I would not have been able to visit if left to my own devices. If I ever return to the area I will definitely be returning to this inn

Wolyeongchae consists of 4 rooms, 2 internal bathrooms, 1 external bathroom, a shared kitchen, and a shared living room. This is a comfortable and quiet hanok accommodation located snugly like a bird's nest in a residential alley. we rented out the whole Hanok for 4 people. it was a wonderful and cozy place. The staff was so kind and came to pick us up at the bus stop when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the home and gave us recommendations on the city. We will stay there again in the future.

Wonderfully peaceful even in the midst of Chuseok… The breakfast is an excellent complete Korean meal. The owner and manager is extraordinarily helpful in all kinds of ways, arranging trips, taking us out to get food etc… and quite knowledgeable about the history of the place being himself a member of the family of the original founder. Absolutely unique.

I booked the 1 person room. It was very comfortable, with one mattress, bedding and pillows. The bathroom was also very spacious with a spa. Lovely breakfast was included (Korean breakfast - delicious). The host was very responsive. Other than that, one had plenty of privacy. It’s located right in the Bukchon Village, but very quiet.
