All units in the guest house are equipped with a kettle. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and slippers, units at the guest house also feature free WiFi, while some rooms also feature a terrace. At the guest house, all units are soundproof. Really friendly staff. Ideal location and beautiful rooftop view. Very comfy beds and room. Hottest shower we experienced in Nepal. Also the included breakfast was AMAZING. Such good value.

At the bed and breakfast, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The best thing about Hotel Vintage Home is the super cool staff that run this hotel. They speak excellent English and addressed me by my name and provided a relaxing, fun environment for my 2 night stay in chilled out Bhaktapur. Breakfast up on the rooftop is fantastic, the hotel's location is bang on perfect surrounded by medieval structures and cheap eateries. The building and rooms are clean, high spec and solid. Shower with piping hit water was brilliant. Entry to the city now costs 1800 NPR for foreigners, make sure you tell the ticket office at the time of purchase that you are staying overnight or longer and they will write an extension on the back of the ticket with your passport number. All over one of my favourite stays in Nepal in 3 visits over 15 years.

Gurung’s Home is perfectly located a short walk from Thamel, but nicely set back from all the chaos and noise. It’s very clean, comfortable and was the perfect place for me to stay both before and after heading out trekking. The staff are so friendly and helpful and as a solo female traveller I felt very at ease. And the value for money is much better than anything you can get just a five minute walk away in Thamel!

This former residence has been very beautifully restored, it retains its character yet feels contemporary. The garden patio is calm & well designed, a great space for breakfast. The bedrooms retain their authentic charm again beautiful restoration work and exceptionally clean, the en suites are modern and blend in very well. The young man working on reception is extremely helpful, friendly, and makes time to talk, especially about Nepali & Patan culture. Highly highly recommended.

Pradhan House - Home Stay with Garden is located in Bhaktapur, just 100 metres fromDattatraya Square. Free WiFi access is available in this homestay.

The accommodation will provide you with a terrace and a seating area. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries and slippers. You can enjoy garden view from the room. Pradhan House-Homestay (Bhaktapur) Everything about this homestay was excellent. The hosts: Ganesh and Rupa are extremely nice, and they are helpful in every way. They go out of their way to be sure you enjoy your visit. Location: A short walk from Dattatraya Square, on a tiny side street. It is a five to ten minute walk from Durbur Square and the majority of major temples, museums, and other important sites. All sorts of shops are nearby. The homestay itself: Quiet comfortable rooms with good beds and nice bathrooms, and showers that are hot. Set in a beautiful garden plaza behind a gate and wall. Private feeling. Wifi was strong and fast. NTC cell reception was also strong. Food: We had truly delicious breakfasts there every day. A variety of breakfasts are offered. Their other meals are probably equally good, but we chose to eat at some of the local restaurants, of which there are many, for the sake of variety. If we return to Bhaktapur we would choose to stay here again.

The bed and breakfast is 700 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 1 km from Dattatreya Temple and Bhimsen Temple. The Kamal Vinayak Bus Station is 1 km away while the Tribhuvan International Airport is 11 km away. This is an incredibly special place— a truly unique, beautiful guest house run by a wonderfully kind and helpful family- stay here! Also, the delightful garden restaurant and café are fantastic— amazing cappuccinos!

Located within 200 m from Boudhanath Stupa and Sechen Monastery, ROKPA Guest House is located in Boudha, Tinchule. It offers free WiFi access throughout the property.

The fan-cooled rooms have an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with free toiletries. Everything is enjoyable at Rokpa: the staff is truly marvellous, very efficient and full of attention (a special mention for Amit, but all others are equally kind and dedicated). The rooms are nice, especially in the Akong building (they are more recent). Food in the restaurant is very good. The garden offers a nice and sunny place where to relax (enjoy the guava and avocado trees!). Location is perfect (if you do not have a room with a view on the Bodhnath stupa, just go on the rooftop of the Akong building and enjoy the view).
