Baywaterviews Bed & Breakfast is 2 km from Waitangi National Reserve. It is ideally located for exploring the Bay of islands & Far North. Guests have free use of bicycles to explore the area. The property is 4 hours from Auckland. Mike is an amazing host and the property is peaceful, private and just what we needed. The hot tub was especially nice to return to in the evenings!! We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

The owners Catherine and Stewart were the perfect hosts! They had a great balance between privacy and sharing important information about where to go.

Rooms and suites are available each with private en-suite bathroom facilities, king sized double bed, free hi-speed WiFi and free parking. Each accommodation has a terrace with seating, your own private access to gardens. Everything was exceptional right from the very moment we first made contact. Nothing was an issue. The owners are lovely, welcoming and kind. So many fine details that we really appreciated having had. A peaceful afternoon and evening listening to birdsong and finishing our day with a spa was bliss. In the morning we recieved a fabulous breakfast and left feeling restored and revived, ready for another day. If Peace and tranquility is what you're after Pāteke Lodge is the right place for you.

The units provide views of the garden and come with a seating area, a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a hair dryer. An oven, a microwave and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Breakfast and coffee were well set out. The atmosphere was friendly and tranquil.

The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Russell, 200 metres from Tapeka Point Beach, 2.8 km from Long Beach, as well as 1.2 km from Flagstaff Hill. Christ church is 2.3 km away and Russell Museum is 2.3 km from the guest house. Beautiful place with excellent facilities. Bridgette welcoming and friendly. Comfiest bed ever. Thank you.

The guest house features a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Spotlessly clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely sunny living area and blackout blinds in the bedroom for a deep sleep. The bed was also comfortable.

Everything...the salt water pool...the spa pool...the comfy room and beds.....the beautiful gardens.....superb brekkie in the morning....and the fabulous hosts, who made our 2 nights here the highlight our our trip up north.
