The suggestions for dinner were also great! However, let me thank Sandrine and Laurent, the hosts, they are exceptional! Our luggages did not arrive with us but only 3 days later (thank you AirFrance...) and although we did some shopping, we did not want to produce waste by buying additional stuff we do not really need as we had everything in our luggage. Thus, Sandrine gave us literally everything: t-shirts, pants, masks, fins, sea-shoes, everything! We really appreciated this help as we had the impression we were at friends' place and this was definitely a relief after a 27-hour flight and no luggage! Thank you a lot for your great help, we will always remember you!

The setting is beautiful in a lush valley, surrounded by trees. The house was perfect for our family of 6 - it was impeccably clean, the kitchen was stocked with coffee etc, the beds were comfortable and the pool was an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying here while on Raiatea.

Wooden cottage with terrace is very new and tasteful, room is spacious and modern bathroom is huge. We were met with fruit basket on the table and bananas came directly from the plants in front of our terrace. We had a tour of owner's certified organic permaculture garden! Every afternoon we kayaked to the motu (free kayak provided) in front of our fare and spent hours until sunset snorkeling and just enjoying complete solitude on white sand beach. Can't beat that! Manutea is great host, he recommended wonderful local hike to the top of the mountain to replace closed Mount Taipoi trail and always was very attentive, but respectful. Car is needed to reach supermarket or restaurant, but that was a plus for us and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Set in Uturoa in the Raiatea Region, Villa Tonoï features an outdoor pool, and panoramic views. The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The individual villas have private balconies that provide wonderful views as this property sits up the hill with expansive views. We loved having breakfast and happy hour on our balcony enjoying these exquisite views.

The bungalow was adorable and perfect size for our family of 5. We especially enjoyed having an outdoor kitchen to cook our own meals.

Guests staying at Teavapiti Lodge enjoy access to free kayaking and free WiFi. Airport transfers are available for an additional charge. Think of Teavapiti Lodge as a typical Airbnb/homestay - not as the Conrad Bora Bora which a lot of sour reviews have seemingly expected. The host was incredibly helpful in making my quick trip to Raiatea a good one, not only offering great local recommendations but also organising a rental car for the day, last minute, and prearranging a taxi for my arrival into Raiatea. The room and bathroom were fantastic, clean and comfortable. You have to cross a shared hallway to reach the bathroom, but who cares? You're staying in an excellent location with a great host and some adorable dogs. Overall, great value for money and I really enjoyed my time in Raiatea. I'd love to come back and stay here again when I return to this beautiful part of the world!

The owner Paula built a little piece of paradise on the hillside overlooking the Polynesien archipelago, and here she represents hospitality and kindness in the best sense possible.
