We stayed in the spacious master bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows, sofa, microwave, small fridge, and agreeable, pleasing décor. A private entrance leads to the deck which extends around two sides of the first floor. The master bathroom offers a long sink with two basins, (and a great liquid soap -- Mrs. Meyer’s made with olive oil and aloe vera). The walk-in closet with a small chest of drawers provides plenty of space for hanging your clothes. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are large and airy with lots of light from windows on three sides and a wonderful view of the mountain through windows that stretch to a vaulted ceiling. The dining room table provides a comfortable space for meeting and talking with other guests from all over the world at breakfast, dinner, or during the day. We appreciated the delicious granola, good coffee, fresh half-and-half, excellent yogurt (Chobani), bananas and lovely blueberries provided at breakfast. The house is set in nature surrounded by forest. A short dirt drive leads from the dirt road to private parking on the lawn in front of the house. You enjoy nature and peace a comfortable drive away from the hustle and bustle of touristic Seward. If puffins are on your bucket list, spend all the time you want with them at the Alaska Sea Life Center: wonderful! Many thanks for a great stay!

The two private suites are separated by a large entrée way. Both suites at the guest house are equipped with a living room, including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, free toiletries and extra towels which are provided in the bathroom. Two queen beds are located upstairs, on the second level, in the common bedroom. Fantastic stay - a warm welcome and beautiful cabin. Would definitely recommend staying here!

FABULOUS Surely we did not expect such a delightful, welcoming, beautiful location in Alaska ..... all in wood, tastefully furnished and with attention to detail, clean, tidy, with everything necessary to make the tourist's arrival pleasant. ... FABULOUS .... is the most appropriate description of our stay at the TALKETNA FIREWEED CABINS which unfortunately was too short!

Egan Civic & Convention Center, Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, Anchorage Museum, City Hall, Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall, and Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. Sullivan Arena is 2.1 km away and The Alaska Zoo is 12 km from the bed and breakfast. Amazing location and host. We were impressed by how clean and comfortable this place is. Also, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Thumbs up for Monica! Would definitely stay here again when we will travel next time to Anchorage.
